I’m happy you’re here!
Hi, I’m Ruby, a Chilean freelance illustrator currently based in the Netherlands.
My work is inspired by nature and characterized by vibrant colors, rich textures, and playful compositions. I love incorporating floral elements, plants, and organic forms into my illustrations, creating images that feel lively, whimsical, and full of movement.
I’m drawn to the details and textures found in the natural world, and I enjoy building layered compositions that balance the playful with the grounded. Sketching is an important part of my creative process, it gives me space to experiment, play with color, explore textures, and let new ideas take shape.
I work across a range of projects, including editorial illustration, books and publishing, posters, packaging, branding, advertising, and commissioned artwork. I’m always interested in exploring new ways to bring illustration into different creative projects and collaborations.
If you have a project in mind, I’d love to hear from you.
